DW Soccer School provides the younger generation with Fun Purposeful Football using our DWSS Training Program led by UEFA A Licence Coach and Ex-Premiership Professional Footballer Darren Ward.

SUPPORTING WELLBEING

We are a football training service based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire for boys and girls from 20 months to 13 years as a support platform to the local community and grassroots football teams, where we are very proud to have seen a large amount of our players being successful in joining the local grassroots teams. Supporting children’s wellbeing is an integral part of DWSS’s mission supported by our ‘Core Values’ of Fulfilling Potential, Encouraging Self-Development and creating a Healthy Environment. FLEXIBILITY

We provide a range of weekly football training sessions to fit around your current football commitments, including general training, after school clubs, Mini Schoolers, Dad's Football, Walking Football and weekend football.
Small group and individual 1-2-1 training sessions are also available on request to fit around you.

The DWSS Training Program including our Philosophy has been formulated from Darren Wards 30+ year career in the professional game. He has played at every domestic league level from The Premiership to League 2 and is a UEFA A-Licensed Coach which leads the way for the DWSS coaching team to provide a professional, innovative and educational approach.

GAIN UNDERSTANDING

DWSS will help your child understand the necessary pathway required to develop themselves in football along with crucial life skills. We do not believe using words such as 'pro', 'professional', 'elite' or 'academy' as other organisations commonly do when dealing with children. This can be very misleading psychologically and is not the reality of where children are currently at.

GENUINE PASSION

As well as being a parent, the journey that Darren has had to become and maintain such a long career as a professional footballer has come from working hard and being genuinely supported by good mentors. Our aim is to continue giving opportunities and genuine support to the younger generation to develop their football ability alongside developing them as individuals.
